Course Overview 

Everyone has a role to play, and creating a safe workplace is the responsibility of every employee. This training consists of two distinct, but complementary sections: a foundational course designed for employees at every level who serve as the eyes and ears of the organization, and an advanced course for managers and employees with a role to play in workplace violence prevention, detection, and intervention. This course will not only provide essential and potentially life-saving skills, but it will also create a shared understanding of workplace safety across all job roles. These essential strategies not only enhance safety but also foster a culture of vigilance and preparedness among your team. 

This course will change how you see the world, and you will know what to look for and what to do if and when you find yourself in a potentially unsafe situation. With the SAFE skills you learn in this training, you will feel confident in your ability to spot a potential threat. When you and all your coworkers are looking for the same warning signs, we all benefit from a safer, more predictable, and less volatile workplace.
